Dearest Volunteers,

I want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you. Over 300 volunteers giving more than 3,000 hours every month – you truly are the heartbeat of Lake Taupō Hospice.

This year has brought plenty of change and unexpected twists. Change is never easy, yet you’ve navigated it all with strength, resilience, and that unmistakable Hospice spirit.

Every time you volunteer, you bring your best – your kindness, care, compassion, laughter, and heart. That’s what our vision is all about: bringing the most unique care experience in the world to our community. And because of you, we’re living that vision every day.

You each come with different reasons, skills, and perspectives, and somehow it all blends perfectly – creating the magic that makes Lake Taupō Hospice what it is.

Looking ahead to 2026, I see a year full of possibility – more kindness, more care, more support, and more fun. With your strength and determination, there is nothing we can’t achieve together.

Tonight, we celebrate you – your dedication, generosity, and the incredible impact you make. Thank you for everything you do. We simply couldn’t do this without you.

Here’s to a wonderful Christmas and an even brighter 2026 together!

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.

The digital world is never static and neither are we.

And I say ‘we’ because I work with an awesome group of talented people who I gather together as required to complete a project.  Whatever your business, not-for-profit or individual needs are we gather the best team to get the job done.
