Our Hospice Shops in Taupō and Tūrangi play a vital role in fundraising for Lake Taupō Hospice. All funds raised through shop sales stay within the local community to support patients and their families.

Run by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, our shops offer a wide range of second-hand treasures, including furniture, clothing, small appliances, kitchenware, sports gear, fine china, books, art, toys, games, puzzles, and linen.

By shopping with us, you're not only supporting hospice care, but you're also helping the environment by keeping quality pre-loved items out of landfills.

Donating to Hospice

If you have quality second-hand items you'd like to donate, it’s a wonderful way to support hospice care in our local community. We kindly ask you to check that all items are in good condition, free of stains, holes, or other issues that may prevent us from offering them in our store. Each shop has a dedicated drop off depot at the back entrance that receives donations. Our team works hard to ensure that the items received are able to be sold in the shops.

We truly appreciate your thoughtful donations, as the sale of these items directly contributes to the care and support we provide to local patients and families.

Hospice Shop Delivery Service

We’re happy to deliver larger furniture and bulky items throughout the greater Lake Taupō district, including Taupō, Tūrangi and surrounding areas. A minimum delivery charge applies, with fees varying depending on your location.

7. Ongoing palliative care is made possible, delivering free support and comfort to patients and their families when they need it most.
