Let’s Build Project Wrap-Up: A Community Effort to Celebrate
The Livingstone Let’s Build project has come to a close, and it’s fair to say the community has plenty to be proud of. The house built through this partnership of local trades, suppliers, and supporters sold for an incredible $220,000.
What made this project special wasn’t just the build itself, but the way people pitched in. Some donated materials, others offered discounted services, and many simply helped wherever they could. Every bit of support added up, and because of that generosity, a large portion of the sale will go straight to Lake Taupō Hospice, supporting the care provided to patients and their whānau.
Let’s Build began as an idea, but it quickly became a real community effort - people working together, sharing skills, and creating something meaningful for Taupō. Lake Taupō Hospice is deeply grateful to everyone who played a part in making it happen.
