Livingstone Building presents ‘Let’s Build’ for Lake Taupō Hospice

Livingstone Building is proud to present the Let’s Build project — a collaborative fundraiser for Lake Taupō Hospice to construct and auction a two-bedroom portable home.

To be built at 139 Ruapehu Street, this exciting build will take place over two months, bringing together the skills and generosity of local businesses, tradespeople, apprentices, and the wider community. The project will culminate in a live auction, giving one lucky bidder the opportunity to own a fully functional, ready-made home — and support an incredible cause at the same time.

Designed by Jackie Robinson Architecture, this 66 sqm home is both stylish and functional, offering a unique opportunity for modern, compact living ready to be transported to it’s forever site.

Funds raised by this project go to support Lake Taupō Hospice to provide free, specialist palliative care 24/7 to people of all ages living with a life-limiting illness in the Taupō/Tūrangi District.

Since 1947, Livingstone has built a reputation for excellence in commercial, industrial, and large-scale residential construction across the upper North Island. We partner with private and public clients in sectors like retail, healthcare, education, and community facilities, delivering quality projects safely, on time, and within budget. Believing that success stems from being community-minded, we value strong relationships and are committed to growing our regions. After being warmly welcomed in Taupō through key projects, we’re proud to support the Lake Taupō Hospice Building Project. As a key employer of apprentices and cadets, we prioritise workforce development, partnering with schools and iwi to provide students with pathways into construction careers. Livingstone is proud to contribute to Taupō’s growth and looks forward to continuing our community partnerships.
