The big move is complete for Taupō Shop!

We’re excited to share that our Lake Taupō Hospice Shop has officially reopened in a brand-new location! Just a short stroll from where we were before, you’ll now find us at 29 Tōtara Street (formerly Danske Møbler). The new space is bigger, brighter, and filled with even more amazing finds to explore.

Our main Lake Taupō Hospice Shop and the Over the Road shop have now come together under one roof. With more space, we’re able to offer an even wider range of items — from furniture and clothing to linen and hidden treasures you didn’t know you needed. Whether you’re searching for something special for your home or a great wardrobe find, there’s something here for everyone.

We’re also pleased to have our donation service back up and running. When you drop off items, our team will carefully check them to ensure they’re in good condition and ready for a new home. This helps us make the most of every donation while reducing unnecessary waste.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible help from our volunteers, staff, and the Taupō community.

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped with the move. A special thanks to Pak’nSave for donating four trolleys, NZ Retail Equipment for donating 11 trolley baskets and 8 trolleys, Todd White for his building support, and Eric Midwood for helping us move.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the Pointons, our amazing landlords, for their ongoing support and for helping reduce costs.

Thank you to Taupō Pathways for sending a team to lend a hand, to Midplace Flooring Xtra for generously lending us a forklift and to NZ Corner who donated counters and shelving for the shop. Thanks to all of your generosity and hard work, we were able to set up the new shop and make it look amazing in no time!

We can’t wait to welcome you into our new space.

Kim Manunui

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.

The digital world is never static and neither are we.

And I say ‘we’ because I work with an awesome group of talented people who I gather together as required to complete a project.  Whatever your business, not-for-profit or individual needs are we gather the best team to get the job done.

Collaboratively we are creative, share sustainable values and work hard for great outcomes because that’s the buzz of satisfaction that drives us.

If you have an audience and market to reach, we can make that happen. Creative design, words that work and smart behind the scenes stuff that cuts through the online noise. We’ll design your website and then build it. We’ll manage the content as well as all your hosting needs. We can handle your online advertising so you get noticed,
and we’ll manage your social media presence so you get the clicks, likes and engagement to grow your business. All within the budget you set, because none of this needs to cost the earth.  And the job doesn’t stop when your website goes live. We are your virtual business partner.
