We are thrilled to announce that through the combined efforts of our amazing community, we have raised nearly $25,000 in total through the Taupo Marathon! 🎉. Thank you to the team at Total Sports for partnering with us.

Fundraising is indeed a marathon, not a sprint! Through this journey, we know that every step, no matter how small, contributes to something greater.

Our Car Raffle: A huge shout-out to everyone who participated in our Car Raffle, thanks to Ingham Taupo for sponsoring the car - you all made it a resounding success! Congratulations to Mandy Bradshaw the winner of a brand new Mitsubishi ASX!

Who's Got The Power Corporate Challenge: The competitive spirit of our 3 corporate teams and 2 individuals that participated in the "Who's Got The Power" challenge raised over $5,000 - thank you to all team members who ran and raised for Lake Taupo Hospice!

Event Day Sausage Sizzle: The delicious aroma of sausages filled the air on event day, attracting hungry runners and supporters alike. Thanks to all the volunteers who put in their time and effort to make our sausage sizzle a smashing success!

On top of all this we received kind contributions from the individuals and organisations who donated when registering to do the Taupo Marathon. Thank you!

Together, you have all made a difference and supported our ability to continue to provide palliative care to our local community free of charge. All funds raised will go towards supporting the Lake Taupo Hospice patients and their families.

We couldn't have achieved this without each and every one of you! Your enthusiasm, dedication, and generosity have truly blown us away. We are humbled again by the overwhelming support we receive.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home.
